  • Why should I have my bins cleaned professionally?
Bacteria such as tuberculosis, salmonella, E coli., Listeria, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus, constantly multiply in trash bins creating a health hazard. Our service cleans and sanitizes trash bins to eliminate 99.9% of the bacteria in trash cans.
  • Do you use hazardous chemicals?
No. We do use an environmentally friendly, biodegradable deodorizer that contains natural essential oils to effectively neutralize odors. We may also use a biodegradable degreaser.
  • Does the cleaning process use a lot of water?
This process uses substantially less water than if you were to clean your own bin using your garden hose. The truck will collect all water used to wash the inside of the bins in a special holding tank to be properly and safely disposed of per EPA and local city requirements.
  • What if I am traveling and/or cannot have my trash cans available on service days?
If you call and let us know, we will skip your home and credit you for that cleaning. You must let us know before your scheduled cleaning day. If you don’t let us know, we cannot credit your account.
  • What day will you clean my cans?
For most cities, our garbage bin cleaning services will happen on your city garbage day. The garbage collection companies are always changing garbage pick-up schedules and we have to work around their schedules. There are some areas that pick up garbage very late. Cans will be cleaned on garbage day. We understand the rules HOAs have for residents to keep cans in garages, behind fences, etc. and we will do our best to coordinate cleaning schedules with you for your convenience. Also, cleaning reminders will be emailed to you.
  • If I sign up, when will you clean my cans?
We will contact you when we receive your order regarding the next service date in your neighborhood. Sign-up online or call us direct.
  • How much water do you use?
If you were to clean your own can using a hose, you could easily use 15 gallons or more. On average it takes us less than 4 gallons. Did you know it is AGAINST THE LAW to clean your cans and let the water run down the storm drain? This contaminated water does serious damage to our waterways and the environment. We collect the water, carry it away in our trailer, and dispose of it properly. We have contracted with a local water treatment facility to maintain compliance with Water Quality Acts and Health Department requirements.
  • How often do I pay?
Payment is processed when we clean your bin(s), not on a specific date. For one-time cleanings, payment will be collected once sign-up is completed.
  • Do I need to be home when you come to clean my garbage cans?
Not at all. Your trash bins are already out waiting for us, so you can feel free to go about your day. At the end of the day, your clean bins will be waiting at the top of the drive, smelling like new for you to bring them in for storage. But in the case, you are home you are more than welcome to come out and watch our highly trained employees make your bins look new again.
